Agent: Iron keeping tabs on Raynes

The 22-year-old defender has been one of the shining lights of County's miserable season in League One and is out of contract in the summer.

And despite Stockport's need to keep hold of their best players, Phil Sproson has told Sky Sports that he expects Raynes to leave the Lancashire club if they receive an acceptable offer.

"Michael is out of contract in the summer and if he doesn't leave in January I would expect him to move on at the end of the season," Sproson said.

"I think with Stockport's financial situation they would consider cashing in on him in January if the right offer comes along.

"Scunthorpe have shown a little bit of interest and there are a number of other clubs keeping tabs on Michael."
