Adkins keeps focus on promotion
The Iron strengthened their grip on a play-off place with Saturday's 3-0 win over Colchester meaning they can now look forward to facing the Hatters next Sunday at Wembley.
But Adkins insists that while his side will enjoy their big day, promotion remains their number one aim.
"This (Colchester) was a big result for us and now we can really begin to finally start looking forward to Wembley," he said.
"It's the first time in the history of this club that it has been to a final like this and we want to win it.
"That will be our focus this week but our long-term objective is to try and win promotion back to the Championship."
