Adkins: Irons are working hard
The Iron boss has stressed the importance of decent preparations ahead of the new campaign, as he gets his squad ready for their opening game - away at Cardiff on August 8.
Adkins told the club's official website: "Since we started back on July 1 it has all been about hard work for the players and we're just trying to get them in the best shape possible for the game at Cardiff in two weeks.
"They've worked very hard out in Jersey and we will continue to for the last three days out there."
