The Iron were held to a 3-3 draw at struggling Northampton on Tuesday, failing to move back into the top six and using up one of their games in hand in the process.[LNB]And as a result, Adkins has challenged his players to improve their defending in their last three games of the season.[LNB]"We expected to get three points here but only got one, despite scoring three goals away from home," he said afterwards. "We're making simple mistakes and getting punished for them. I'm not going to pick out individuals, we're in this together as a team.[LNB]"Northampton threw everything at us, and we just couldn't hold out.[LNB]"But we've got three games left, we've got to stay strong, have a better level of consistency and go and do it. But we can't afford to ship the amount of goals that we've conceded lately."[LNB][LNB]
