Darren Young has decided to stick with Alloa. The captain that led the Wasps to the Third Division title has signed a new deal at Recreation Park. Last season the former Aberdeen, Dunfermline, Dundee and Morton midfielder doubled up his playing role at Recreation Park with a coaching job in the local community. Alloa manager Paul Hartley said: "Darren has been away on holiday but he is signed up now. He was an excellent captain for us last season and I am sure he will be again in the Second Division."
