Part-time players have to consider what pays the bills East Stirlingshire have lost the services of midfielder Paul Weaver because of work commitments. Weaver’s last appearance came as a substitute against Albion Rovers on Saturday. Head coach Jim McInally said: "We will be sad to lose Paul but he felt it would be unfair on the club to continue in the current situation where he knew in advance he would not be available for certain matches." Weaver joined from Ayr United in January 2009 and McInally added: "Paul has already encountered problems getting time off on Saturdays from his new job and, as a result, has decided to concentrate on his full-time career. I think I speak for everyone when I say that he has been a really valuable member of the squad since he joined us and played a big part in our two promotion pushes over the last couple of years."
