No repreive for Inverness

Inverness looked into the eligibility of Hearts' Danny Wilson to play in Saturday's Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final. However, the defender has been given the all clear by the SFA and SPL.  When Rangers won the 2010 final against St Mirren, Wilson was shown a red card sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity and picked up an automatic suspension for his next game in the competition. However, he never played in the competition again before he moved to Liverpool, months before Rangers began the defence of the trophy. Wilson was brought back to Scotland this month on a loan deal and Saturday was his second Hearts appearance. An Inverness statement read: "We have spoken to the SFA disciplinary committee who have confirmed that Danny was eligible to play on Saturday. This was checked out by Hearts and the SPL prior to Saturday's game. There was no notice of suspension accompanying his registration paperwork when he returned from Liverpool FC."
