All trialists want a deal but managers have to make sure they get the right man.

Partick Thistle manager Alan Archibald is biding his time over making any decision on Portuguese trialist Rui Ferreira. The striker has been training and played in a practice game with the Jags this week in the hope of winning a deal. However,  Archibald wants to see more of the youngster before deciding if he has a future at Firhill. Archibald said: "The lad has been in training with us for the last week and he is in until next week. We are just having a look at him. He looks okay. We've just not had the chance to see him in another game yet. It will be another week anyway before anything happens."Meanwhile, Archibald wants to see his players bounce back from last week's 3-0 loss at home to Aberdeen when Kilmarnock come calling this weekend. He said: "The first couple of days afterwards were hard. It was a very disappointing performance and we knew that. But the boys are fine now and we are just looking forward to getting it out of our systems and putting in a good performance against Kilmarnock."
