Former Sunderland loanee John Mensah is said to be willing to sign for set Celtic, according to reports in his homeland Ghana, but is in no rush to make a decision. The centre-back is a free agent after making just one league appearance for French side Lyon last season.
Reports in Ghana also suggest Bordeaux and Trabzonspor are interested in Mensah's signature. But the much-travelled Ghanaian, who has made more appearances for his country than for any one club, insists he is in no rush to agree a deal with any club.
He said: "I am not in a hurry to sign for any team. I have to think and make a choice, the right choice. Celtic? They have a great history and have the greatest fans in the world, so they are appealing to any player. Like I said, there are many teams calling but I am relaxed and not in a hurry."
