Whitecaps Wonder Value Of Letting Miller Go

Kenny Miller wants to stay fit during the Major League Soccer's off season

Vancouver Whitecaps coach Martin Rennie is not offering much hope to those who speculate that Scotland international Kenny Miller could be heading back to the SPL on loan in January. Miller moved from Cardiff City to Vancouver in the summer and is said to be willing to agree to a short-term loan in the New Year to maintain his fitness during Major League Soccer's off-season. St Mirren manager Danny Lennon says he has already had initial contact with Miller, who has also been linked with a move to former club Hibs. However, Rennie claims he has not been involved in any talks and questions the benefit to his club of letting Miller go out on loan for a couple of months.  Rennie said: "No one has discussed it with me. I don't see an advantage in loaning out players prior to the season. If we were presented with a case we'd consider the merits."
