We can upset Czechs - Snodgrass
Leeds striker Robert Snodgrass believes Scotland have the quality in their ranks to overcome the Czech Republic this weekend and move a step closer to booking their place at Euro 2012.
Both nations are vying for a coveted play-off spot by finishing runners-up to Group I leaders Spain and Saturday's clash at Hampden could ultimately be crucial in determining who comes out on top.
Snodgrass said: "It's a massive occasion for Scottish football. It's a chance for us to push on in the pecking order. It will be a tough game against the Czech Republic but we've got the quality in the squad to produce something."
Snodgrass will be hoping to earn his fourth cap marking his first start for the national team by bagging the winner against Denmark last month.
He added: "It was just about biding my time and keeping doing well for my club. If you get the call - great.
"The gaffer has given me a chance here, which I fully appreciate."
Meanwhile, West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans is relishing the prospect of experiencing an electric atmosphere generated by a full house at Hampden.
He told the Scottish Football Association's official website: "It will be a massive game.
"I've not been involved in a 3pm kick-off yet but a few of the lads have told me that the atmosphere is incredible.
"Hopefully it will be just as good as they say it will be."
