Paul Hartley has checked his black book of ex-teammates and and signed Stephen Simmons who has agreed to join the Wasps after a season with Queen of the South. The midfielder began his career at Tynecastle in 1998 and played in over 100 games for the Edinburgh side before moving to Dunfermline Athletic in 2006. Simmons headed to Palmerston for the 2008/09 season before joining Raith Rovers where he stayed for three years before heading to Dumfries for a second spell with the Doonhamers. The Alloa Athletic Manager said: "Stephen is a very experienced player who will add a lot of strength to our midfield.
