Wanyama Heading To Parkhead

Neil Lennon appears to have won the race for Victor Wanyama signature. Celtic are understood to have had a bid accepted for Germinal Beerschot's midfielder Victor Wanyama. The Kenyan is believed to have already agreed personal terms with the Parkhead club and a deal is now close to completion. Rangers had also been linked with a move for Wanyama, while Aston Villa were understood to also be interested. Celtic manager Neil Lennon is set to win the race the deal which is said to be worth £1million to Germinal Beerschot. The Kenyan is the brother of Inter Milan's McDonald Mariga and made his international debut aged just 15 in an unofficial friendly against Nigeria.
