Now that is something unusual. Arbroath manager Paul Sheerin has given credit to the Gayfield club’s Board after they allowed him to sign former Hibs striker Paddy Deane for the club. Deane, who played as trialist in one game for Montrose last season after being released by Hibs, has been a free agent since leaving English side Darlington at the end of last season.
