Stuart McCall factor made it a tough call for the loanees It was a case of best two out of three for Albion Rovers manager Paul Martin as he wanted to keep all three players from Motherwell who are currently with his club on loan. Peter Innes, Steven Lawless and Steven Meechan have been at the promotion chasing Third Division club since September. Martic could only persuade Innes along with Lawless to stay on until the end of this season while midfielder Meechan has returned to Fir Park.Martin said: "I am disappointed that Steven Meechan has decided against staying here longer but I can understand his reasons for doing so. There is a new manager at Motherwell and Steven wants to impress Stuart McCall and fight for a first team place there. He leaves here with our best wishes for the rest of his career."
