It's like signing a new player before the transfer window when a player comes back from long term injury Steven Tweed has praised Montrose comeback man Terry Masson for providing some much needed bite to the Links Park midfield. The former Arbroath midfielder was signed by Tweed in the summer but has been out of action for five months since he picked up injury against Dundee back in July. Masson made his comeback in the 5-0 defeat against Arbroath at New Year and Masson built on that to excel against Dunfermline in last weekend’s 2-2 draw in the Scottish Cup.Tweed said: “Terry is a real terrier in midfield and has provided us with a lot more drive and energy than we had before. It was hard to judge him on the Arbroath game as we had 2 players sent off but against Dunfermline he was excellent.” Masson got further game time in a 4-2 closed door defeat by Aberdeen on Tuesday night. Tweed went on: “He played well in that game as well and I am looking forward to Terry establishing himself in our team.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
