On Monday 14th June Cowdenbeath FC appointed top QC and ex-Rangers vice-chairman Donald Findlay as their new chairman. The First Division new boys from Fife have gained the support of Cowdenbeath-born Findlay, 59, after months of turmoil which saw them fighting for survival after financial losses. Fans' group Cowden Action Group have 10 reps on a new board of 10 directors. On Monday night a club spokesman said: "We are delighted to announce our new board of directors with Donald Findlay as chairman and prominent Edinburgh businessman John Lints as vice-chairman."The new board will meet tonight to draw up a short list of candidates to succeed Danny Lennon as manager. Lennon left for SPL St Mirren recently after four successful years at Central Park where he gained two promotions and led Cowden to the First Division for the first time in 17 years.
