Robin House does fantastic work for children

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes delivered some festive cheer to kids at Robin House earlier today and let them get up close with the William Hill Scottish Cup, the trophy he helped his side lift in May. Stokes handed out Scottish Cup goody bags to the children and presented a £1,000 donation on behalf of the Scottish Cup sponsor, William Hill, to the Kiltwalk charity, which helps support the tremendous work done by the staff at Robin House. Robin House is a children's hospice which offers a purpose-built home from home, with accommodation for eight families from across Scotland at any one time and expert care on hand to ensure the children make the most of each day.

Stokes said: "It was great to spend some time with the kids today. They really enjoyed getting their hands of the Scottish Cup and seemed to have a good day. I think it's important to try and put a smile on the faces of brave children like the ones here at Robin House, especially at this time of year, and I hope they have a really nice Christmas."
