Things Are Not Berra In Scotland

Christope Berra wants to stay playing in England Christophe Berra does not think the time is right for him to make a move back to Scotland. The Wolves defender has attracted interest from Rangers and his manager, Mick McCarthy, is reportedly ready to let the Scotland international leave Molineux this summer. However, Berra said: "I read it in the papers and Rangers are a massive club with a huge fanbase, you can never say you'd say 'no' to them. But it's just rumours and I'm not really paying much attention to it. I'm enjoying life in England at Wolves and the Premier League is the place to be in to prove yourself - I'm improving as a player here. I've played 60-odd games in the Premier League, so I'd like to think my value has gone up. The SPL is going through a wee dip, Scottish football is in the doldrums right now and clubs can't afford to pay big transfer fees."
