The Worm Can Turn

Mark McGhee just needs to stick up some headlines from the last time Aberdeen met Celtic to fire up his players for Saturday Aberdeen will still be hurting from the 9-0 drubbing the last time Celtic were lined up against them. That is one sure way to fire up the opposition when Celtic travel to Pittodrie on Saturday. Ex-Don Charlie Mulgrew has warned his current teammates to be wary of suffering a backlash this weekend. Aberdeen have continued to struggle in games since their biggest ever defeat but Mulgrew believes it would be dangerous to treat his former club lightly. He said: "All it takes is just one result to turn things around. I spoke to some of the lads up there, who said that they have been working hard to try and get out of this rut. They are hurting. But it's been shown that when a team plays Celtic it's a one-off, form goes out the window and players raise their game to try and beat us."
