Alloa have signed Armand One Armand One has signed for Alloa which put paid to rumours that he had signed for a side which plays in the Austrian Second Division side after he left Stranraer at the end of last season. The six foot four front man, who started his career at Nantes and played with Partick Thistle, Cowdenbeath, Raith Rovers and Livingston as well as his Stair Park stint, signed on the dotted line on Wednesday evening to bolster the Wasps front line. Manager Paul Hartley said: ''Armand told our Secretary Ewan Cameron that no international clearance would be required as he definitely had never signed for LASK Linz despite what some websites had been saying. Armand scored a lot of goals in the Third Division last season and we are looking for the same from him this year.'' One joins fellow new recruits to the Hartley revolution at Alloa in goalkeeper Scott Bain (who came in from Aberdeen), former Celtic and East Stirling striker Kevin Cawley and the McCord brothers Ryan and Ross who have signed from Dundee United.
