Ryan MacBeth is looking for a new club after calling it quits at Firhill

Midfielder Ryan MacBeth has agreed with Partick Thistle that is it time for him to move on and the club have cancelled his contract at the player's request request. He has been out for nearly the whole season due to a stomach injury. MacBeth is product of the Firhill Youth system and made his first team debut in a Scottish Cup tie back in November 2008. He started last season as a first team player and scored the winning goal in the Challenge Cup tie against Clyde that opened the campaign. However,  he was struck down by a stomach injury and although he had a loan spell at Clyde last season he has been unable to break back into the Thistle side. Manager Jackie McNamara said: "Unfortunately Ryan’s time at the Club has been blighted by injury and he has not featured since a pre-season friendly with Blyth Spartans. He has struggled to get back to the level that he was once at and I think it is in his best interests to move on. We wish him well for the future."
