The end of the season does not always mean a time to relax for players as they could be asked to move one Dumbarton boss Jim Chapman has had to have the most difficult meetings with the  ten players he has released from his squad. Captain Mick Dunlop headed up the 'not required on journey'  list of players who will not be offered new deals. Other players leaving the Sons are goalkeepers Jan Vojacek and David McEwan along with former Kilmarnock and Partick Thistle winger Stevie Murray. Other players no longer required at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium are Ross O'Donoghue, Denis McLaughlin, Richard McKillen, Ross Harvey, Ross Clark and Roddy Hunter. Chapman said: “I would like to thank the players for helping Dumbarton progress in their first season back in the Second Division and it is never an easy task releasing players.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba.net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
