Sometimes you have to be realistic to achieve your ambitions

Stranraer manager Keith Knox is full of praise for the patience and professionalism shown by former Rangers and Alloa striker Max Wright after a deal to sign him finally been agreed. Wright joined the Blues in pre-season training and featured in several games without a deal. The club were in a dilemma as they were required to do some more sums on their budget after being promoted to Division Two. Even after this was done there was not a lot on offer for Wright. However, such was his desire to get back playing regularly, he accepted the deal in a bid to get his career back on track. Knox said: "Max has continued to train with us despite all this uncertainty and missing out on some games. He has accepted an offer that is not that great for him financially but remains determined to do his best for us and I cannot praise him highly enough for his desire to succeed as footballer."
