That Was A Quick Deal

Station Park one week, the next possibly in Europa League action Scotland under-21 goalkeeper Grant Adam has returned to Rangers after his loan deal with Forfar was cut short after less than 2 weeks at Station Park to allow him to be registered for the Europa League. The Ibrox club need Adam after their third choice shot-stopper Scott Gallacher, who was on loan to Forfar last season, picked up an injury in training that will keep him out for a number of months. Adam needed to be released immediately to be eligible for Europa League action against Maribor should anything happen to Alan McGregor and Neil Alexander. The Loons had youth team 'keeper Anton Mordente on the bench for Tuesday night’s game with Morton in the Ramsdens Cup and manager Dick Campbell hopes to have a new shot-stopper in place for Saturday’s game with Albion Rovers.
