20 May 2011 17:16
The SFA want to encourage as many fans as possible to get involved in football. The SFA want the Scottish Cup final to be special not just for the winners but also for the fans who attend the game. You can get into involved in the action by helping celebrate UEFA Grassroots Day, with a free come-and-try day at Lesser Hampden. There will be demonstrations of 4-a-side, 7-a-side and 11-a-side games involving players from Motherwell, Celtic and Queen’s Park which form part of the SFA and Scottish Youth FA’s new National Player Pathway.  Youngsters can get involved by testing their skills at various fun stations while adults can learn more about SFA coaching courses and Positive Coaching Scotland. All this is free and available between 12:00 and 14:00 which allows plenty time to get to the final.
