Kenny Brannigan hope to put one over old friend. Doonhamers manager Kenny Brannigan is looking forward to linking up with an old friend this weekend when Qeen of the South visit league leaders Raith Rovers. Brannigan explained, “When I was in the twilight of my career at Berwick Rangers, Paul Smith who is now assistant manager at Raith was a team-mate, and I am really looking forward to seeing him again." Brannigan is a fan of what Smith and Kirkcaldy boss John McGlynn have achieved saying, "They are top of the table on merit having lost one league match to date. They have been a revelation during those last couple of seasons in Division One. They are sharp up front and their defence is hard to break down and I think their manager John McGlynn has done a great job.”Injuries continue to haunt Palmerston with Brannigan adding, “It will be a late call who plays and who is available, but I will know better come Friday."
