Time for Spiders fans to stand up and be counted. Alan Hutchison, Queen's Park president, has asked all fans of the Spiders to come along to Hampden this Saturday as Gardner Speirs' side's attempt to get into the play-offs by beating Montrose. Players appreciate the support they get from their fans and all the vocal support they can muster could be the key to grabbing the points required. Hutchison said: "A victory would see our first XI gain a place in the play-offs for promotion to the Second Division. This is an amazing turnaround from our league position at the beginning of January and all the players and backroom staff deserve huge credit for the manner in which the team has played and the effort that has been made. I would like to encourage all Queen's Park fans to come to Hampden on Saturday to back the team in what is an extremely important match for the Club. I can assure you that the players do appreciate the backing they receive."
