Queens Park were willing to invest a few pounds to get Giuseppe Capuano back in action.

Queen’s Park midfielder Giuseppe Capuano has made great strides in his recuperation after spending a week in the sun. He linked up with the Hampden club’s youth team on their 2 week training camp in Turkey earlier this month and has since has started full training for the first time in four months following hip surgery. Capuano benefited from a combination of decent weather and intensive treatment to join in with head coach Gardner Speir’s first team squad this week.

Speirs said: "We had though that Giuseppe would not come back to the end of March, however the week in Turkey has brought things forward. We are all really pleased that the club forked out extra funds to get him over there."
