Stranraer were within a penalty kick of promotion to the Second Division at the end of last season when they lost 5-3 on penalties to Albion Rovers in the Play-off Final. They have agreed deals with two of the players that took them that close and also with one of their on-loan stars. Former Morton defender David MacGregor, who joined the Blues last September and went on to make 31 appearances, has agreed to remain for another year as has goalscoring midfielder Sean Winter who will play for a third season following his move from Arthurlie Juniors. Manager Keith Knox has also signed loanee midfielder Ryan Borris on a permanent deal following his temporary move from Dumbarton. The Stair Park side have been encouraged by their efforts last term and plan to go one better next season.
