Stirling Albion Get Hotel Backing

Sponsorship is hard to come by in these difficult times but Stirling Albion have managed to secure funding for three years Stirling Albion are not wasting time in getting more money into the fan-owned club with the announcement that Doubletree by Hilton, Dunblane Hydro has reached a sponsorship agreement with their local football team.  The deal will see the hotel take on the club’s sponsorship and will include the renaming of Stirling Albion’s ground as the Doubletree Dunblane Stadium. The sponsorship deal is for an initial period of three years with the option of an extention and amounts to a significant financial investment for the hotel. Calum Ross, area general manager, Hilton Worldwide Central Scotland, said: "The partnership with Stirling Albion reflects Hilton Worldwide’s increasing commitment to making a contribution towards the local areas in which we operate. We’re delighted to be able to support a major sporting organisation which has its roots in the local community and we hope the team’s enthusiasm, excitement and innovation will help inspire our very own Hilton team to strive for the best they can be."Robert Glashan, general manager of Doubletree by Hilton, Dunblane Hydro, said: "We are thrilled to be named an official sponsor of Stirling Albion.  We recognise that the team are a well loved and a valued asset to the local community on both a sporting and social basis.  All of the team at the hotel are looking forward to attending the very first match to be played at the new Doubletree Dunblane Stadium."
