Stirling Albion Don't Waste Time Finding A New Manager

19 January 2011 18:19
Unseemly haste to find a new man to take on the manager's role. No sooner had Stirling Albion announced, with regret, the resignation of manager John O'Neil and assistant manager, Roddy Grant,  than they were inviting the media to a press call tomorrow to unveil their new manager. O'Neill took over team manager duties in June 2010 after having been assistant manager and player at the club. However, following a run of poor results, Albion have decided a change is required.Spokesman Paul Goodwin said: "Everyone at Stirling Albion would like to pass their thanks on to John and Roddy for all of their hard work and support for our club.  We appreciate this was a difficult decision for all concerned but we need to now concentrate on surviving in the 1st Division. With survival in mind the club will begin its search for a new manager straight away."Just five hours after the statement was released, a press conference call was issued to say the new manager will be introduced to the press tomorrow morning. They could have waited till O'Neill seat had cooled a bit. Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is ScottishFitba Net
