Paul Stewart has returned to football after a year out,. Gardner Speirs has brought former East Fife and Clyde midfielder Paul Stewart back to Queens Park after a 12 month absence. His reappearance will help fill the void left by Martin McBride when he signed for Dumbarton. Stewart played for the Spiders for four months in 2010 before leaving to join the Police. Manager Speirs swooped to sign the midfielder as soon as he knew he was available. Speirs said: "Paul made a big impression during the 17 games he played for us in his last spell and I sure he will do the same this time out. He is an experienced player who will help the youngsters in our squad."
