Squad Changes But Stays The Same

It is not often you hear of somebody having to leave a club to get fit

Clyde have made two changes to their squad with the net number staying the same. Former Raith Rovers and Arbroath centre-back Craig Wedderburn has had to leave the club in an attempt to get back to full fitness. The recently laid artificial surface at the Cumbernauld ground has been adversely affecting his in-grown toe nails. Manager Jim Duffy said: "Craig has two in-grown toenails and was unable to train on our new surface. He felt that he could not do himself justice when playing for us, so he has left and that will enable him to have an operation and get back to full fitness." Keiran MacDonald did enough when he featured as a trialist in a recent game against Queen's Park to persuade Duffy to agree a deal for his services. Duffy said: "Kieran is only 19 but he offers a good attacking threat and I look forward to seeing him in action on a more regular basis."
