Elgin City are taking no chances on underestimating Saturday's opponents There were more than enough spies at the St Johnstone v Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Sunday as the entire Elgin City Squad took in the game. The Borough Briggs side take on Invernessin the Scottish Cup on Saturday and Elgin City manager Ross Jack thought it would be useful  if the players took in the game to help them prepare for the first ever senior game with their neighbours from the SPL .Jack explained: “The plan was to play a friendly against Brechin on Sunday on the astroturf next to McDiarmid Park and then take the boys to the game so they could build up their own picture of what they need to do well when we face Caley. The match against Brechin never got played because of ice on the park so we had a training session and then watched the SPL game and you never know, one of the players may just have picked up something really important.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba Net
