Slow But Sure Progress
No need to impress the manager with your fitness to play when you are the manager!
Player/manager at the Forthbank Stadium, Greig McDonald has returned to training following a knee operation. However it is unlikely that he will be ready to return to play for Stirling Albion again before the end of the season. McDonald had surgery in February and, after taking part in a few light training sessions, has moved up a gear although he may not get stripped in his side’s remaining three games.McDonald said: "Things were progressing well so I wanted to push myself a bit more. It went well but I don’t think I will get back in time for the season ending. It might make pre-season easier all the same."
