Six Weeks Is A Long Time In Football

Clyde can't afford to have Marc McCusker out for as long as six weeks. Clyde striker Marc McCusker picked up an injury 10 days ago against Annan and the prediction is that he will be out for another six weeks. Manager Stuart Millar is hoping that  he will not be out for as long as that and he delved into his own history of injuries as an example. The Bully Wee are in need of a lift after Saturday’s 8-1 defeat by Montrose and Millar is hoping that having McCusker available sooner rather than to give them a boost. Millar said: “About a million years ago I broke my collarbone playing for Clyde and was out for four weeks. Marc’s injury is in the same area and I am hoping that we can get him back in that time frame as opposed to the November time that was first talked about.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba.net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
