Paul Hartley is using his contacts to boost the playing staff at Alloa Alloa have now signed six new players since Paul Hartley took on the role of player/manager. The sixth signature belongs to experienced midfielder Darren Young who has agreed to move to Recreation Park. Young was captain of both his first club Aberdeen and then Dunfermline, where he linked up with his brother Derek, who was a team-mate of Hartley at the Dons last season. Young joined Dundee in the summer of 2008 before moving on to Morton last season and he joins goalkeeper Scott Bain, midfielders Ryan and Ross McCord as well as new front men Kevin Cawley and Armand One at the Wasps. Hartley is still on the look out for new players. He said: "I am still speaking to a number of players about being in our pool next season."
