Simmons Returns To Palmerston
Stephen Simmons knows his way to Dumfries already. Gus MacPherson has made another signing as he snapped up Stephen Simmons. The ex-Hearts and Dunfermline defender was with Raith Rovers last season and just missed out on promotion. It will be a return to familiar ground for Simmons as he actually spent a few months at Palmerston in 2008.MacPherson said: "He's a quality player and I've always admired him. He should really be playing at a higher level." Simmons added: "I had a brief spell with Queens before and enjoyed my time there. When Gus approached me I had little hesitation in saying Yes!"
