Hard choices to make for players who want to stay full time

Craig Dargo is still considering his future despite being offered a new deal with Dumbarton. The Son’s play-off hero would ideally like to stay full time in the game or have a playing and coaching role. Dargo scored 7 times in his two month spell in the Second Division. The former Raith Rovers, Kilmarnock, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, St Mirren and Partick Thistle front man scored twice as Alan Adamson’s side beat Airdrie 4-1 to clinch a First Division place in the Play-off Final before heading to Largs to undertake his UEFA A Coaching course. He said: "I am grateful to Dumbarton for the contract offer but I have a few decisions to make. My short time there is my only period that I have been part-time in football and I would like another crack at being a full-timer. I also would like to move into coaching at some stage in my career and obviously I have prepared for that with attending Largs. I will take a week or so to decide what I want to do next. I am not closing the door on Dumbarton I just need some time to make up my mind."
