Scott Robertson knows what to expect when Scott Brown is part of the opposition - a tough game

Scott Robertson is looking forward to a midfield battle with returning Celtic captain Scott Brown at Tannadice today. Celtic will be boosted by the presence of Brown for the first time since September following an ankle injury. Robertson knows what to expect from the visitors as United aim to climb the table. He said: "I've played against him (Brown) a lot of times and it's never been an easy match. He's very physical and energetic. I know what I'm going to be up against - he's a very good player." United know just how dangerous Celtic, when on song, can be. The Glasgow side  thrashed St Mirren last weekend when they recorded a 5-0 win. Like the Buddies, United have already been on the wrong end of five goals scored by Celtic this season when today's visitors flexed their muscles in the August game at Parkhead. It was 2-1 until Ki Sung-yueng netted after 58 minutes and then Celtic ruthlessly took advantage of the available space as United chased the game. Robertson said: "The manager thought he was going to go for it and we left ourselves a little bit open. The scoreline probably did flatter them a wee bit." Robertson is wary of the likes of James Forrest and young Dylan McGeouch, who scored a wonder goal against the Buddies. But the United midfielder has been pleased with an improved defensive record in the win over Hearts and draw at Motherwell and hopes the mean streak can continue this weekend. He went on: "We needed to start getting more clean sheets, that's two in the last two games. If you do do that you're giving yourselves a chance to get a result. We have beaten Celtic recently at Tannadice - we'll definitely give them a good match."
