Scotland Squad Lose Commons
The efforts on Saturday have proved to eb a step too far for Kris Commons Craig Levein's squad for the final games in the Carling Nations Cup is down by one as Kris Commons has withdrawn. He will miss the games against Wales and the Republic of Ireland due to be played in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 25 and 29 May respectively. The midfielder pulled out of the travelling party, with a hamstring injury, after playing in Celtic's 3-0 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Cup final on Saturday. Commons scored in Scotland's 3-0 win over Northern Ireland in February in their first game of the competition.
