Glasgow City women are being relied upon to keep on running as they meet every challenge laid before them

National coach, Anna Signeul has nearly agreed the squad which will travel to Israel for their first game of their  UEFA Women's Euro 2013 Qualifying campaign. Once again Glasgow City provide the majority of her squad. The City women have been busy winning the league for the fifth year in a row on Sunday and will be in Iceland for the second leg of their Champions League knock out tie with Valur. Looking ahead to the game with Israel, Signeul said: "Having seen Israel play I know that the game will be very difficult. They are well organised side and fought very well against a very strong France team. The conditions will also be different to what the players will be used to as we will be playing in temperatures approaching 30 degrees. However, we are going to Israel on the back of a thorough preparation and a series of difficult matches that has the team prepared for this match. In every position in the team we have quality and we also have competition and that is a sign of how healthy our squad is. The players are pushing each other really hard to improve and that is best exemplified by the standard of the recent performances on the pitch."
