Julie Fleeting will not be travelling but the 21 player squad will do Scotland proud

I was going to be following Scotland's Women's national side to Cyprus at the end of this month but my travel money was required elsewhere to repair storm damage. However, I am sure the 21 player squad coach Anna Signeul has named will be able to cope without me in the fifth annual Cyprus Women's Cup. The FAs of Scotland, England and The Netherlands organise the tournament  in partnership with Cyprus Tourism Organisation and Erinor Tours and is established as an important event in the women's football calendar. The squad does not include record goalscorer Julie Fleeting, who is pregnant with her second child. Signeul said: "Everyone at the SFA joins me in congratulating Julie. Her daughter Ella has become a well-known face around the squad over the past two years and we look forward to meeting the new addition to the family. Julie is a fantastic player, role model, and character around the dressing room, so she will be missed. But with some talented young players establishing themselves in the squad, there is genuine excitement around the remainder of our Euro qualifying campaign."
