Kenny Miller marked his first outing as Scotland captain with a goal as Northern Ireland were overwhelmed 3-0 in the Carling Nations Cup.
The Bursaspor striker, skipper for the evening, set Scotland on the way to a convincing win over a poor Northern Irish side at Dublin's Aviva Stadium.
James McArthur, a late addition to the side, doubled the advantage when an apparent cross drifted in and Kris Commons added a third early in the second half.
