The World Cup qualifying group games will be decided on tomorrow and Scotland will be holding out for Saturday games

SFA chief executive Stewart Regan will meet with his counterparts from Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, Macedonia and Wales in Brussels on Wednesday to discuss the qualifying group games schedule for the World Cup in Brazil 2014. He is keen that the games will include home weekend game when they get down to agreeing dates. FIFA's preferred dates are Fridays and Tuesdays but Scotland have not played home games at Hampden Park on Friday nights because of opposition from Strathclyde Police. That raises the possibility of Scotland playing all of their home games on weekday evenings but Regan aims to persuade some opponents to come to Glasgow for a weekend fixture. Writing on Twitter, Regan said: "I'd prefer to see a range of dates including weekends for those fans who cannot make it on an evening." Scotland faced the Czech Republic at home on a Saturday in their ultimately unsuccessful EURO 2012 campaign but their three other Hampden encounters fell on a Tuesday.
