Colin Samuel has agreed to stay with the Perth Saints St Johnstone have agreed a new deal with striker Collin Samuel whose current deal was due to expire this summer. However, he has decided to extend his stay in Perth. Samuel, who joined Saints almost two years ago, was not able to deliver his best last season due to injury but he ended the campaign with a run of games in manager Derek McInnes' side. McInnes said: "I'm delighted we have managed to get Sammy sorted out so quickly. He and I have been disappointed and frustrated by the injury problems he has had but we are confident those are behind him now - in many ways the season has come to an end just at the wrong time for him. However, we know what he is capable of and saw glimpses of it in the season just ended - a fully fit Sammy has the pace and power and the ability to score goals at SPL level."
