The Co-opeartibve Insurance Cup is a memory for now as league business return to the fore for Raith Rovers and Falkirk Raith Rovers have slipped to second place in the table, but are determined to keep their unbeaten start in the league going when the meet on-a-high Falkirk. Rovers manager John McGlynn does have a number of injury concerns to cope with following their midweek trip to Aberdeen on Co-operative Insurance Cup duty. Defenders Laurie Ellis and Willie Dyer are both struggling and, with Mark Campbell, Dougie Hill and Scott McBride all still out, the Kirkcaldy resources are being stretched. McGlynn said: "We have a few other guys with bumps and bruises following our fine performance at Pittodrie. Whatever side we put out we will look to keep the unbeaten run going at least.''     Team P W D L F A W D L F A GD PTS 1 Dunfermline 6 3 0 0 7 2 2 0 1 6 3 8 15 2 Raith Rovers 6 3 0 0 7 0 1 2 0 3 1 9 14 3 Falkirk 6 3 0 1 8 3 1 0 1 1 2 4 12 4 Queen of South 6 2 0 1 6 4 1 0 2 4 5 1 9 5 Cowdenbeath 6 1 0 2 3 6 2 0 1 6 4 -1 9 6 Ross County 6 1 1 1 3 2 1 1 1 2 3 0 8 7 Dundee 6 2 2 0 3 0 0 0 2 1 4 0 8 8 Morton 6 1 1 1 3 2 0 0 3 1 5 -3 4 9 Stirling 6 0 0 2 2 8 1 1 2 3 7 -10 4 10 Partick Thistle 6 1 0 1 2 2 0 0 4 2 10 -8 3 A win for the Bairns would see them move about today's hosts, but they will be depleted after recent signing Tam McManus picked up a medial knee ligament injury during their Co-operative Insurance Cup success against Hearts in midweek. The ex-Hibs man will be out of action out for five months. Falkirk have also ruled out youngster Keiran Duffie as he is away to Estonia on Scotland U19 duty, but manager Steven Pressley is confident they can pick up another win. He said: "This is another big game for us in the First Division and we are really looking forward to it. Everyone was excited by Tuesday night, but the focus is now back on the league and we are going there for a win. Moving into second place would end a good week for us results wise.''
