Ross Tokely will be staying in the Highlands after signing for Dingwall based Ross County after he quit local rivals Inverness. The defender has joined the newly-promoted SPL side on a one-year deal. He made over 500 first-team appearances for Caley Thistle before making the switch to County. Manager Derek Adams believes Tokely's SPL experience will be invaluable as the club prepares for their first season in the top flight. He said: "At 6ft 2in, Ross is a commanding presence both in matches and on the training pitch. He has a wealth of experience at this level and, whilst a lot of our players have already played in the SPL, having someone like Ross, who played the majority of last season and knows the league and the teams so well, is a valuable addition to the group."
