Ross On The Move

27 August 2010 06:42
Two games, two 4-0 losses. I think Jack Ross will be happy to leave Hamilton. After playing just two games, Jack Ross looks to be about to leave Hamilton. The club are in the process of finalising a financial agreement with the full-back, who only joined Accies in the summer on a one-year deal after being released by St Mirren. Ross did not make the most auspicious starts to his Hamilton career as he gave away two penalties on his debut - a 4-0 defeat at Aberdeen - and was hooked in the 4-0 loss against Hearts at New Douglas Park on Saturday. The former Falkirk defender, who played under Hamilton manager Billy Reid at Clyde, was left out of the squad for the midweek Co-operative Insurance Cup defeat by Raith Rovers at Starks Park. A Hamilton spokesman refused to comment but it's understood  that Ross's departure will be confirmed today. Meanwhile, on the bright side, the Lanarkshire club confirmed they had received international clearance for Nigel Hasselbaink, the nephew of former Chelsea and Holland striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who signed earlier in the week from PSV Eindhoven.
